Although not selected for the phenomenal soundtrack for Ned Benson’s follow-up to his similarly themed The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby, Metric’s “Now or Never Now” nearly sums up the plot of his oft-sublime The Greatest Hits. Harriet(Lucy Boynton), a librarian mourning the loss of her boyfriend Max (David Corenswet), is triggered by songs that marked their relationship. An obsessive cataloger (a great quality for a librarian), she has mapped-out the trajectory of their relationships in songs and memorabilia that she accesses in a controlled environment. For the rest of her life there are noise-canceling headphones that she uses to block out songs that send her back into the past.

2014 Tribeca Film Festival Slate Includes ‘Goodbye To All That,’ ‘Electric Slide,’ ‘Dior And I,’ ‘Starred Up’ & More
The Tribeca Film Festival has unveiled the first half of their 2014 slate—that’s 47 of the 87 feature-length films—including the World Documentary, Feature Competition, Viewpoints, Spotlight, Midnight and Storyscapes. This year is Tribeca’s 14th festival and welcomes indie filmmakers and international celebrities alike.
The 2014 festival comprises films from 32 countries and includes 55 world premieres. 102 directors will present their films—22 of these directors are women—with 37 of these filmmakers making their feature directorial debuts. The festival launches on April 17th with the debuts of “Dior and I,” a documentary about the “storied world that is the House of Christian Dior with a privileged, behind-the-scenes look at the creation of Raf Simons’ first Dior Haute Couture collection as Artistic Director” will open the World Documentary competition. “Gabriel” a film about a “vulnerable and confused teenager longing for stability and happiness” will open the World Narrative competition, and “Summer of
