Early Life
Urwa Tul Wasqua Hussain is a Pakistani actress, producer, media personality, VJ, and model popularly known by her stage name Urwa Hocane. She was born in Karachi, Pakistani, on 2nd July 1991, but she and her two siblings, Ins E Yazdan and Marwa Hocane grew up in Islamabad.
She had always dreamt of having a career in acting and has never been afraid to go for her dreams. While it is unknown where she started her education, she completed her higher education at Bahira College, Islamabad.
Career
She started auditioning for theatre roles while she was in high school but did not get any parts. She then decided to work on the films behind the scenes. She worked for several plays and got noticed by a musical show producer.
She traveled back to Karachi and started working as a VJ. Through her work as a VJ, She got into the Pakistani television industry and landed her first role as the lead actress alongside Sajal Ali and Ahsan Khan in ‘Meri Ladli,’ a romantic drama released in 2012.

UrwaTul Wusqua Hussain, better known by her stage name Urwa Hocane (born 2 July 1991) is a Pakistani actress, model and media personality.[1] She made her acting debut with Khushboo Ka Ghar as Rukhsana in 2012.[2] Hocane is best known for portraying Meera in Udaari which earned her Hum Awards for Best On-screen Couple shared with Farhan Saeed and a nomination in the Hum Awards for Best Actress Popular. She played the role of Guddi in Momina Duraid's Mushk which earned her a Lux Style Award for Best Actress Critics nomination.[3]
She made her film debut with Nabeel Qureshi's romantic comedy Na Maloom Afraad and later appeared in Punjab Nahi Jaungi, directed by Nadeem Baig. In 2022, she is all set to make her debut as a producer with the romantic drama Tich Button.[4]
